My blog is nine years old! Nine is such an interesting number. When you multiply any number by 9, then add the resulting digits and reduce them to a single digit, it always becomes a 9. For example, 6 x 9 = 54, reduce 54 to a single digit by adding them together: 5 + 4 = 9. Similarly, 8 x 9 = 72, and 7 + 2 = 9. Or 23 x 9 = 207, 2 + 0 + 7 = 9, and so forth. There is nothing coincidental about this peculiarity. Try it. Any number, no matter how large, multiplied by 9 reduces to 9. From a numerological perspective, the 9 simply takes over, like the infamous body snatchers. Any number that was initially increased by a factor of 9 loses its own identity and instead takes on the characteristics of the 9. No other number has that quality.

A different, but no less distinctive and revealing, attribute of the 9 is that when you add (as opposed to multiply) it to any other number, then reduce that number to a single digit, it always comes back to itself, as if nothing was added at all. For example, 5 + 9 = 14, 1 + 4 = 5. Or 7 + 9 = 16, 1 + 6 = 7. 24 (which reduces to 6) + 9 = 33, 3 + 3 = 6. Again, have some fun, try it on a bunch of numbers.

Now back to my blog. On the ninth anniversary I have actually posted 333 blogs! Do I even have to tell you that adds up to NINE? This was not planned of course and is purely coincidence and yet, is it? I’ve always felt the blog had a “Life” of its own. It ebbs and flows and crosses many boundaries with the types of people I have had the pleasure to feature.

I have no idea how much longer my blog will go on, but I do know I have no plans to end it anytime soon. I started out in Hollywood and was able to feature many Actors, Writers and Hollywood friends. Since living in Texas, the past four years, I have had the opportunity to feature some of the best Musicians I have ever heard. I must confess to enjoying the transition and getting to know so many fabulous and talented Musical Artists. What JOY it has brought my life to share these artists with all of you! Now I look back on the past 9 years and how the blog has evolved since January 2009. Thank you all for the support!

Here are the Anniversary blogs from the first 8 years!

To have Linda Gray for the first anniversary was a dream come true! What an amazing lady who really can do it all. She charmed all who were at the photo session and interview. I'll never forget this day!

It was easy to know who to feature when my second anniversary came up...my friend, the handsome, charming and talented Mr. Gilles Marini was the obvious pick! Read the interview and look at our shots! You will agree that he is something special!

My third year anniversary came around the time I had the opportunity to talk on the phone with the legendary Comic Phyllis Diller. I had taken a photo of her at an event a few years before and I took some snapshots in her home one day and that's what I used on the blog.

The Fourth Anniversary found me having the rare opportunity to visit and photograph the truly Beautiful and talented Miss Judy Pace! She is a history making Actress! Check her out!

For my Fifth Anniversary I had the pleasure of featuring the beautiful, gifted and athletic Ice Skating Star, Miss Tai Babilonia! I never imagined I'd know Tai when I would watch her inspired ice skating on TV.

My Sixth Anniversary gave me the opportunity to feature one of my dearest friends, the vivacious and beautiful Miss Freda Payne! Let me say it here. Freda is EVERYTHING!!!

My Seventh Anniversary Blog allowed me the chance to put the spotlight on the Legendary Miss Mary Wilson! How Supreme indeed!

And last year for the Eighth Anniversary, I had the thrill of featuring the Country & Pop Music Legend, Miss Jody Miller! She's the Grammy winning Queen of the House!
